Give your child the unforgettable experience of becoming a voice actor in one of their favorite shows! GoKidGo Academy is a small-group, three-session virtual workshop where young performers from anywhere in the world can learn professional voice acting techniques, rehearse with renowned Hollywood experts—casting director Harriet Greenspan and talent manager Susie Mains—gain technical recording skills from GoKidGo’s Head of Production, and ultimately record their lines to be featured in an episode on the GoKidGo network!

This program includes:
• Three 45-minute live virtual sessions
• Guaranteed casting in a GoKidGo podcast episode
• Personalized coaching in character development and vocal performance
• Simple at-home recording guidance (parents are encouraged to join the final session)

About the Workshop

The GoKidGo Youth Voiceover Academy is designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and joyful expression. Over three live virtual sessions, students learn how voice acting works behind the scenes, practice reading scripts, and bring characters to life using pacing, tone, and emotional storytelling. Each student receives personalized coaching in a supportive, encouraging small-group environment.

Workshop Structure

Session 1: Welcome & Voice Acting Foundations
Students meet their instructor, learn about the world of voiceover, and receive their character assignments. This session focuses on reading scripts aloud, exploring character choices, and understanding how to convey emotion through voice.

Session 2: Coaching & Performance Practice
Students rehearse their lines live with professional coaching. They learn vocal clarity, character expression, and how to respond to direction like a working voice actor.

Session 3: Recording & Tech Support (Parents Encouraged to Join)
This session walks families through the simple recording process. Kids and parents learn how to set up a quiet recording space, capture quality audio, and submit files. No special equipment is required. A standard smartphone or computer microphone works great.

At-Home Recording

After the final session, students record their assigned dialogue at home. They will receive clear and easy instructions, along with encouragement and guidance for best results. Once the audio is submitted, the GoKidGo production team edits and mixes the final episode.

Guaranteed Podcast Feature

Every student in the workshop is guaranteed to be featured in a GoKidGo network episode. When the episode is released, families will receive a link to share with friends, teachers, and relatives. A meaningful keepsake and professional accomplishment!
